    Exceptional vintage red and gold leaf hotel luggage label from the Imperial Hotel in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Intricate, 5 inch wide label is diecut and embossed with shiny gold leaf. Printed in red, black and gold. For some reason, the gold leaf in the attached image appears dull. On the actual label, the gold leaf is bright and shiny. Certainly, one of the most elaborate and costly hotel luggage label ever produced. Adhesive back. Mint condition.
    Also up for current Ebay sale are two of the same label that are missing one of the gold tassles that extend down from the outer edges.
